Here is your class schedule for today, 7/23:
9:00am-10:15am: Review each others' paraphrases and summaries and leave comments and suggestions. (Please see yesterday's homework blog post if you are unsure what I mean.) This was homework from yesterday. Once you receive feedback, please edit and make corrections to your own paraphrase and summaries, and repost them as comments beneath your original posts. I will review these.
10:15am-10:30am: Break
10:35am-12:05pm: Please meet Sarah in our classroom or computer lab. Sarah will have a lesson for you today to begin your project for the weekend.
12:05pm-1:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm-3:00pm: Work time on Formal Technology Debate Notes and Preparation. You may work in the computer lab, in the library, Starin, or another comfortable, productive location on campus. (A copy of the homework sheet and resources has been sent to your university e-mail.)

Homework due by 11:59pm Thursday, 7/23: Blog Post: Post your edited and revised copy of the summaries and paraphrase from Tuesday as a comment to your original post. You should have used comments and suggestions from me and your classmates to make the corrections.
Homework due by 11:59pm Sunday, 7/26: Blog Post: Choose a quote that defines you, says something about you, or is simply your favorite. Post the quote, recognize the original author or speaker of the quote, and explain what the quote means, what it says about you, how it defines you, and why it is your favorite. Include a minimum of 5 sentences (quote not included).
Homework by classtime Monday 7/27: Bring the printed, completed copy of the Formal Technology Debate Notes and Preparation (completed includes 2 arguments for pros and 2 for cons for each topic, all sources listed, and a works cited page). This will be half of your debate project grade. We will be using this completed homework for an activity in class.
